Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Snow attended Lafayette High School before completing a Bachelors of Science in Biology at Central Methodist University. While running for the Eagles of CMU (2000 – 2004) Snow was a 6 time All-American in the 800m and 1000m distances collectively placing as high as 3rd in the NAIA indoor track and field championships. After researching the endangered Palila on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2007 Snow was eager to return the the St. Louis running and racing scene revitalized by Big River. Supported by some of the best teammate and coaches anyone could ask for Snow went on to set PR’s in every distance from 800m to the half marathon. More importantly, Carter has enjoyed the camaraderie of a wonderful group of guys and gals who share a love of running. As PR’s are getting harder to come by Carter enjoys giving back to the sport as a high school cross country and track coach at Parkway North High school, serving on the Board of Directors for the Festival of Miles Foundation, and occasionally timing at Big River Speedwork.
