Picking up from the last Wrap Up which covered many outstanding races across the board for the team. The team races into November with an even heightened drive as they push towards Thanksgiving Week.
Starting with the Hissin Hustle 5k and 10k races in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, MO, the small field raced in 35 degree temperatures running to support the Tenth Life Cat Shelter which helps shelter cats find new homes. The field’s sole Big River Racing Competitor, Chris Floyd won the 10k after being led down the wrong route and getting back on the normal course.
Then the following Sunday, St. Louis Half Marathon and 5K ran in Clayton, MO and the surrounding neighborhoods, Michelle Dillon, the sole Big River Racing runner in the race won the women’s division. In the Half Marathon Race, Drew Mueller took 6th overall and 4th in his age group while Gryphon Kettering took 13th overall and 6th in his age group.
Turkey Trot Season was in full swing starting on the 17th of November. Multiple Runners on the team participated in Turkey Trots across the St. Louis/St. Charles area as well as in other parts of the US. Since there were multiple Turkey Trots during that part of the season. We made a special Turkey Trot edition wrap up to capture all of the Turkey Trots that were going on.
