Any runner who is interested in training (and socializing) with a group and seeks to improve on their running performance. All runners are welcome regardless of what your personal best times may be, however, some of the team members will be post-collegiate runners and/or training at a higher level. For team members that have hit the qualifying times for “Tier 2” benefits (shown below) within the last year, Big River will give out additional training support and benefits. Please contact one of the team captains if you have met any of these standards for more details.
To join you need to be an active participant with the team. This means that in order to become a full racing team member you must attend 5 group runs/races. These can be a simple Monday night group run from a Big River store, one of the workouts on the training schedule or a race on the team calendar. If it’s your first time, make sure to introduce yourself to other team members. Once you’ve made it to 5 events you can become a full team member by filling out this Attendance Log tracking your participation. Once you’ve completed your log please e-mail the team at contact@bigriverracing.com to receive further information and instructions on how to purchase your New Balance team kit (jersey and warm-up t-shirt) exclusive to Big River Racing!
